Who We Are

MUVi (Mobile UV Innovations Pty Ltd) is a Victorian healthcare technology company specialising in infection control.
We design and build disinfection systems that eliminate viruses, bacteria and superbugs on high-touch surfaces and in the air, helping reduce the risk of Hospital Acquired Infections (HAIs) in healthcare and commercial settings.

With a strong foundation in medical research and electrical engineering, our team develops UVC and photoelectron-based equipment that supports hygiene protocols across hospitals, aged care, dental, childcare and fitness environments.

Locally developed and globally validated
MUVi began as a spin-out of Duplex Healthcare, a trusted infection control supplier with over 25 years of experience across Australia, New Zealand, Asia and Europe. Since then, MUVi has grown into a brand known for practical innovation and reliability, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic when our MUViLight technology was rapidly adopted across multiple sectors.

Our Story

MUVi was born from the integration of international medical research and practical industry expertise.

We have undergone years of development and clinical trials to create disinfection systems that serve as a safeguard against human error in routine cleaning.

During the COVID-19 outbreak, MUVi systems were deployed in several hospitals in Wuhan, China. Medical workers used high-dose UVC light to disinfect rooms, tea rooms, patient areas and even protective clothing.

Currently, MUVi is developing a smart tracking sensor for real-time monitoring of disinfection activities, helping healthcare teams maintain consistent hygiene standards.
